1. Carrot2: uses various sites and sources to gather information that meets your search request. There are three different ways you can search.
1. The folder: lists the information like a traditional website. 2. The Circle: sorts and collects your information. 3. Foam Tree: collects your topics and visually narrows your search. |
2. DKFindOut: has lovely graphics that supports all subjects for students and teachers. There are also free educational tools that you could print right from your computer.

4. Finding Dulcinea: is known as the “Librarian of the Internet” and offers the student the best information available. It’s quick, easy and provides credible information for the most convenient websites you can use.

5. Kiddle: is a visual, safe search engine created by google. The first three results are kid-friendly and are hand-picked by trusted adults that work with Kiddle. All the results afterwards are simplified and are run through a safe search filter. Parents have control over keyword and website blocking. Images and videos can also be searched up that are run through a safe search engine as well.

6. Kid info: A teacher created Kid info to help her kids with homework. The organization is made into subjects with grade levels. There is also links and references that lead to educational and fun games and puzzles. The links are checked every week so inappropriate or broken links are removed.

7. KidzSearch: This website uses Google Safe Search to filter inappropriate content. Explicit content is blocked and if links are inappropriate, they’re removed as well.

8. Qwant: respects and protects your privacy. Some people prefer privacy when searching online. You can attach Qwant as an extension to Chrome by accessing the Google web store.
